LQ-A510 trivalent chromium passivator
LQ-A510 trivalent chromium passivation agent is an efficient and environmentally friendly passivation agent, which is composed of a variety of inorganic chemical raw materials and surfactants. The original solution is a green acidic liquid with pH value of 3.3-3.4. It has the following characteristics: stable operation, good passivation effect, excellent corrosion resistance, long resistance to neutral salt spray. can be used for aluminum alloy, especially for the pre-treatment process of die-cast aluminum. forms a colorless to pale blue film. The film layer has the characteristics of low contact resistance less than 0.8 mOhm/cm2 and high temperature resistance. Environmental protection, safety and non-toxic, in line with EU RoHS regulations. Wastewater treatment is simple. Suitable for dipping, spraying and hand wiping.
Grooving and liquid control
After cleaning the working slot, open the slot according to the proportion in the following table, and control the tank liquid parameters according to the data specified in the table:

Note:
When grooving, the stock liquid and water should be mixed evenly, and then the pH of the working liquid is determined. If the pH is not in the required range of 2.5-4.0, it is adjusted to the range.
Protective gloves should be worn during operation. The unused product liquid should be sealed in time and kept properly after opening the lid.
If the pH is high, adjust slowly with 5% sulfuric acid solution; If the pH value is low, adjust slowly with 1% sodium hydroxide.
pH value determination: Take 1000ml of tank liquid, measure with a PH meter, and read the stable value as the PH value of the working liquid.
Trivalent chromium ion concentration determination:
- Accurately remove 25mL of the tank liquid to be measured into 250mL conical bottle. Add 50mL pure water, 10ml 50% sulfuric acid solution, 1ml concentrated phosphoric acid, 10ml 1% silver nitrate solution, 2g ammonium persulfate, and shake well.
Place on an electric stove and boil for about 2min, cool to room temperature, add 5-6 drops of vanadium reagent (phenylanthranilic acid) indicator, shake well.

Tank maintenance
- The actual production consumption is mostly carried out consumption, and the pH value and trivalent chromium ion concentration of the tank should be tested regularly during the production process.
The bath liquid will be precipitated for a long time, and it is recommended that the environmentally friendly passivation tank be used with a filter.
About 80 ml of trivalent chromium passivation agent is added for each 2.4m² product treated in 200L tank, and the specific data is determined according to the actual working conditions.
200L tank, continuous production, and normal supplement potion, processing area of 1000-1600m², please replace the tank liquid (this data is for reference only, the actual production of product materials based on the site).
Equipment requirements
The tank should be lined with PP/PVC material, with a constant temperature device, and it is best to have a stirring device.
Note:
If used for the first time, the tank must be thoroughly cleaned.
When there is too much precipitation in the working tank, which affects the passivation effect of the workpiece, or the addition of the raw liquid does not significantly improve the treatment effect, the tank liquid should be replaced and the tank should be re-opened.
Proper agitation at work is beneficial to the improvement of the passivation effect, and frequent impact of the workpiece should be avoided during and after passivation.
Transportation and storage
When handling the product should be handled gently, it is strictly prohibited to use dangerous actions such as falling, throwing and bumping;
The storage place should be ventilated, dry and cool, and no direct sunlight or exposure to the outside;
Do not be close to heat sources, acid bases, oxides and other corrosive substances;
Do not place upside down or open.
Wastewater treatment
Discharge after treatment according to local wastewater discharge regulations.
Safety notice
Avoid eye contact when using, do not swallow, use good ventilation equipment, and users should wear rubber gloves when operating, if accidentally touch the eyes or skin, rinse with plenty of water. Get medical attention if necessary.
